Ugh, made the mistake of reading the comments in the article again. So many of them are so hostile...

This car is going to be so good I am tempted to make the mistake of buying a new BMW again. Never has free maintenance cost so much (of my time) in monthly dealer visits. iDrive is still junky but it should have Apple CarPlay soon. The tail lights are fixed (lmao at anyone who spent $80k on an M4 with incandescent bulbs). The aero is functional for track junkies. The world’s first factory water-meth injection system is brilliant. You don’t want to do something like that aftermarket. I wonder if there is a tank to fill?

It’s just a Recaro Pole Position. You can get them for $1000. Won’t be OEM in the US because they have no airbags. They’re also useless for the track because you can’t run a 6 point belt. So the worst of both worlds, really.
